Alexander Mahnke has been CEO Insurance at Siemens AG since 2011, where he was responsible for the global insurance business for the Group. The 54-year-old lawyer began his career at Siemens in 1999 and from 2004 took on various positions at insurance brokers Aon and Marsh. He is also known throughout the industry for his role as chairman of GVNW (German Insurance Association). In 2018, he also won the European Risk Management Award in the category Risk Manager of the Year.
