Klaus M. Przybyla will be appointed as the future Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MSAISE effective October 1, 2024. As part of this transition, it is intended that he will also assume this responsibility for a future merged company. His successor at MSIGEU will be Dr Alexander Mahnke, Chief Commercial Officer on the Management Board, who will become CEO of the company as of October 1, 2024.
This transition is aimed at aligning with the strategic goals of the merger. The appointment of Przybyla as CEO of MSAISE is to ensure a smooth transition, allowing him to gain a deep understanding of our sister company before the merger is completed, positioning him to lead the combined entity to future success. Klaus M. Przybyla, who brings extensive international experience and deep expertise in the insurance industry, is well-positioned to lead the company through this important period. He has served as CEO of MSIG Insurance Europe AG since 2013 and has played a significant role in driving growth and positive financial results. His appointment as Executive Officer of the parent company MSI in Japan in April 2024 further highlights the trust that is placed in him and his capacity to lead at a global scale.
Future CEO Dr Alexander Mahnke has joined MSIGEU in March 2023. Since then, he has strategically expanded the cooperation with clients and partners and aligned the company's branches for further profitable growth. Mahnke has worked in the insurance industry for more than 20 years, including 12 years as CEO insurance at Siemens AG, where he was responsible for the global insurance business. As long-standing Board Chairman of the German Insurance Association “Gesamtverband der versicherungsnehmenden Wirtschaft e.V.” (GVNW), he is familiar with the views and needs of clients and partners in the industry.
“I am very pleased with the confidence placed in me and look forward to working with my new colleagues to bring the company and the merger process to a successful conclusion. These are exciting and challenging times ahead”, said Przybyla. “Now I have the opportunity to get to know MSAISE in depth and to further strengthen the company in the run-up to the completion of the merger. I am also delighted to have Alexander Mahnke as my successor at MSIGEU. Over the past year and a half, we have worked together very closely and trustfully.”
“With his engagement over almost 12 years, Klaus Przybyla has put MSIGEU in a strong position for the future. I look forward to continuing in his spirit and working with him as CEO of the future company to lead us through a successful merger”, said Mahnke.
