On the occasion of our tenth anniversary, we decided to financially support the association Prométhée, because we share its deeply human values. Our group has been concerned for many years not only with the environmental matters but also with social projects. In June 2015, our MS&AD holding company became a signatory to the Responsible Investment Principles Initiative (PRI). This approach aims to integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues in the investment decision-making process. Our group encourages its subsidiaries to take initiatives that help solving social problems by implementing and engaging in charitable activities, philanthropy, etc.
Throughout the world, MSIGEU is committed to a sustainable future. For MSIGEU France Branch it is a concern to support humanitarian association with the aim of child protection. Today’s child will be tomorrow’s adult. If childhood is protected and respected, a child will grow into a confident adult and the world in which we all live will be better tomorrow.
Promethée Humanitaire is a non-profit association that has been working for twenty years to offer to abandoned and rejected children, living in the streets in Haiti, Madagascar and Senegal, the chance to rebuild their lives in a stable emotional environment. They aim to give them the opportunity to reclaim their childhood and to have a dream that really works for their future. The program accompanies them in their growth toward complete autonomy, where they have both the future and a job in their hands.
It is essential to act and ensure that these abandoned and sacrificed children get a future with dignity, along with the respect and love they deserve. Prométhée Humanitaire and its 170 volunteers work with conviction and passion for this great cause and carry out difficult and admirable work. They know how to listen, they understand the children’s issues, the painful words they have experienced, and they do everything to help rebuild lives. Each one of us, to our own measure, has the opportunity to make a gesture. Thus we must take action and not remain indifferent to this misery. So like us, we would like you to invite to invest in their future.
