Martin Saffenreuter will assume the position of Chief Underwriting Officer Property at MSIG Insurance Europe AG (MSIGEU) and will thus be responsible for the line of business property. Mr. Saffenreuter succeeds Stefan Henke, who is retiring.
Martin Saffenreuter currently works as Senior Account Manager at FM Global in Frankfurt am Main. The 54-year-old business administration graduate has more than 25 years of experience in industrial property insurance. He acquired this both in underwriting and through reinsurance placements at FM Global as well as in various specialist and management functions at Zurich Insurance. As Chief Underwriting Officer Property, he will be responsible for MSIGEU's entire property insurance business. As such, he will be in close contact with our European subsidiaries and will further expand the business activities in the line of business property.

Also on January 1, 2021, Dirk Reissberg will start as Chief Underwriter Property in the Region Germany at MSIGEU.
Mr. Reissberg has held various professional and management positions with a focus on industrial property insurance for many years. In addition to his experience at well-known insurance companies such as Axa, he has also worked on the client side. For example, the 52-year-old currently heads the property department at Albatros, the insurance broker of the Lufthansa Group. In his new position at MSIGEU, Mr. Reissberg is responsible for the operational business of the property division in Germany.
