Dr Alexander Mahnke
Dr Alexander Mahnke is Chief Markets Officer of MSIG Europe SE, a role he has held since July 2025. Before, he was Chairman of the Management Board of MSIG Europe since October 2024. Prior to this, he served as Chief Commercial Officer and Member of the Management Board, where he was responsible for driving the company’s commercial strategy, market development and distribution activities across Europe.
Before joining MSIG Europe, Alexander spent more than a decade with Siemens AG, serving as Chief Executive Officer Insurance and leading the company’s global insurance activities. Earlier in his career, he held a variety of management positions with Aon and Marsh, building extensive expertise in insurance, risk management and broker relations. With over 20 years of industry experience, Alexander brings a strong combination of strategic leadership, commercial acumen and deep knowledge of the European insurance market.
Alexander is a qualified lawyer, he further holds a doctorate degree from the University of Bochum and a D.E.A. from the University of Montpellier.
