Herbert Baeten
Herbert Baeten has served as Cheif Underwriting Officer of MSIG Europe SE since July 2025. A Board Member of the International Network of Insurance since October 2023 and has been a Member of the Supervisory Board of MSIG Specialty Marine since September 2021. Most recently, Herbert was Chief Underwriting Officer, Property & Casualty at MS Amlin Insurance SE, where he led underwriting strategy and portfolio management across the business.
Prior to this, he served as Managing Director and Chief Broking Officer at Aon Belgium, overseeing client relationships and broking operations. Herbert holds a Master of Laws and brings a strong combination of technical insurance knowledge, commercial leadership and strategic insight gained through senior roles across the European insurance market.
