Jan Carendi

Jan Carendi is Chairman of the Board of MSIG Europe, having been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chairman in September 2025. Jan brings extensive international leadership experience from the insurance and financial services sectors, with a strong track record in corporate governance, business transformation and strategic oversight.

Prior to joining MSIG Europe, Jan served as INED of Lombard International Group 2014-2024 and Chair of various subsidiaries in the UK and Luxembourg.

Served on Allianz SE Executive Board 2003-2008 and was CEO of Allianz Americas. As Global Sponsor of Customer Focus Initiative introduced NPS at Allianz SE and subsidiaries plus introduced an “outside-in“ customer focus view at Allianz SE.

With deep expertise in guiding businesses through periods of transformation, Jan plays a key role in supporting MSIG Europe’s continued integration, development and long-term strategic ambitions.
