José Luis Sánchez
José-Luis Sánchez is Branch Manager for Spain at MSIG Europe, a role he has held since April 2022. He is an experienced insurance professional with extensive expertise in liability underwriting and management, developed through a career spanning more than three decades in the Spanish insurance market.
Prior to joining MSIG Europe, José-Luis served as Liability Manager Spain at RSA, a position he held from 2012 to 2018 and again from 2019 to 2022. Between these roles, he was Head of Casualty Spain at Zurich, where he was responsible for leading casualty underwriting activities and supporting business growth. Previously, he held the same position as Head of Liability for Spain at AGCS for four years. He spent the first 20 years of his career as a facultative reinsurance underwriter at Munich Re and Gerling Globale Re.
Throughout his career, he has built a strong reputation for technical excellence, client focus and leadership within the insurance sector. José-Luis holds a degree in Law, providing a solid foundation for his expertise in commercial and liability insurance.
