Lien Schepens
Lien Schepens is Country Manager for Belgium at MSIG Europe, leading the company’s Belgian operations and supporting the continued growth of the business in its home market. Having joined the organisation as a graduate trainee, Lien has built her career within the company over nearly two decades, holding a variety of roles across Claims, Underwriting and Operations. Her broad experience has provided her with deep insight into the business and the evolving needs of clients and brokers across the Belgian market. Prior to her appointment as Country Manager, she held a number of leadership positions within the organisation, contributing to operational excellence, business development and organisational transformation.
With a strong focus on people, collaboration and customer service, Lien is recognised for her ability to build high-performing teams and foster long-term relationships with clients and partners. Having progressed through multiple functions during her career, she brings a well-rounded perspective to leadership and a deep understanding of the insurance industry. Lien holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Science with a specialty in Biochemistry from Ghent University and a Master’s degree in Corporate Economics also from Ghent University.
