Mitsuteru Miyake
Mitsuteru Miyake is a Non-Executive Director of MSIG Europe SE and a Member of the Supervisory Board of MSIG Specialty Marine NV. Seconded from Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company Limited in Tokyo, a core company of MS&AD Insurance Group, he supports the alignment of the Group’s European operations with its global strategy and business objectives.
With more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Mitsuteru has held a number of senior leadership positions within MS&AD Insurance Group and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company across corporate strategy, international business, operations, claims management and investor relations. His previous roles include Associate Director and Head of Investor Relations, and General Manager of the Corporate Planning Department, where he also served as Executive Assistant to the Group CEO.
Mitsuteru has extensive international experience, having worked in both Europe and the United States, including serving as Operations Director at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company (Europe) Ltd. Through his broad background in business management, governance and international operations, he provides valuable strategic insight and supports the long-term development of MSIG Europe within the MS&AD Group.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Keio University, Japan.
