Norbert Herkströter
Norbert Herkströter is Chief Operating Officer of MSIG Europe SE, a role he has held since September 2021, with responsibility for driving operational excellence, technology strategy, AI and business transformation across the organisation.
Prior to joining MSIG Europe, Norbert was Chief Information Officer at Delft University of Technology and, before that, served for more than a decade as Chief Technology Officer at Aegon, leading large-scale technology, digital transformation and innovation initiatives internationally. With a career spanning insurance, financial services and academia, he brings extensive expertise in technology leadership, operations and organisational change. Norbert holds an MBA and a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering.
